“Campus Medius researches and extends the possibilities of digital cartography in cultural and media studies.”

Research project

Together with project leader Simon Ganahl and programmer Andreas Krimbacher, I was involved in the redesign and further development of the Campus Medius project as a designer.

Campus Medius is an interactive map that shows fifteen events within 24 hours: The weekend of 13 and 14 May 1933 in Vienna, a turning point in the political development of the National Socialists in Germany and the Austrian reactions to these developments.

The 24-hour timeline allows you to follow what happened at different places in the city at the same time. In addition, the interactive map offers the possibility of presenting the events in a spatial overview.

Campus Medius is still under development and is to grow into a digital mapping platform.
